You performed a lumbar interlaminar epidural steroid injection at L3-4 on a 68-year-old male with spinal stenosis. The patient is on apixaban 5 mg BID for atrial fibrillation. Per your facility protocol and ASRA guidelines, apixaban was held for 3 days prior to the procedure. The procedure itself was unremarkable with good epidural contrast spread and no complications noted.
